  • Provide analytics on MET’s growing online collection (about 500,000 objects currently).
  • Work with the Met’s Public API to understand what is working, identify areas of improvement, what data visualizations can be created, and explore ways of measuring the use and impact of the API.
  • Produce Wikidata visualizations (including knowledge graphs) that show how Met collections connect to other data sets outside the museum.

  • This project is funded by National Science Foundation, led by Dr. Leanne Bowler, Dr. Mark Rosin, and Dr. Irene Lopatovska, aims to design, build and test a prototype of a data literacy activity for young people to be used in afterschool STEM programs in public libraries.
  • Using R and Python created an automatic data-cleaning framework for qualitative transcript data generated in the research.
  • Utilized [NLP dictionary] with LIWC-22 and analyzed emotion, sentiment factors in these data.
  • Composed weekly research reports and data analysis related documentations for the research team.

  • This project was conducted by using Time Series Analysis and Generalized Additive Models (GAM) to analyze the imports of cosmetics in Brazil from 1989 to 2016 to verify whether the “Lipstick Effect” is regionally significant in Brazil.
